“I currently work as Associate Director of Principal Gifts Stewardship at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. I use my sociology degree in the work I do daily – I find it incredibly important to thank our generous donors, but in a way that is respectful of the communities we serve. I leverage my communication skills to prepare written outreach, thank yous, reports, and other products to hopefully help people expand upon their worldview in how their dollars can and are used to combat the social determinants of health. My sociology degree and education still drives what I do and my worldview! “
